in three different countries. I sincerely believe that
my expat lifestyle helps me to develop myself

I can help you if you are looking for
Training & Education
I am always ready to provide my ready-to-run classes on Agile (Agile & Business Agility 101, Scrum Foundations, Kanban Foundations, Basic Facilitation and Coaching), design custom educational programme tailored to your specific needs be it a one-time event or series or educational activities.
Organisational changes
Wherever you are right now in your Agile journey, you may always benefit from having an unbiased look from the outside. I am enthusiastic about working with Agile fresh-starters, companies feeling the need for transformational efforts and those who are still in doubt.
Coaching & Mentoring
For any change initiative to succeed, it is crucial to create an internal reinforcing structure and expertise. I can help your Leaders (Management, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, etc.) in gaining fit-for-purpose skills to ensure a sustainable culture of Continuous Improvement.
Facilitation
Strategic activities or big group meetings can be very useful to the business but can easily turn into a mess without proper design and facilitation.
I will be happy to help you with designing and facilitating an efficient and successful complex business meeting.

So far I was lucky to work with
We have worked closely with Denis Salnikov through a very intense period for our company. What was started with two pilot Scrum teams has later turned into a full-scale company transformation resulting in the LeSS setup of seven teams.

Denis has not only introduced the change but helped us to make it sustainable. He helped us to convert initial pilot teams into startups and led the hiring process of our in-house Scrum Masters.

When Denis joined our team in N26, we were for sure lacking some guidance. Denis embraced the challenge and helped us perform at our best, making everybody in the team proud to be part of it.

Under his guidance we defined and shaped our Scrum implementation to achieve a pleasant, conflict-less and efficient work pace.

Denis is really a guy you would like to have around. He is an exceptional Scrum Master & Agile Coach who takes his role seriously. Denis is a highly skilled expert in communication, coaching, training, facilitation and also bring technical mastery.

The way Denis facilitated our Scrum Events was really something different in a very positive way. I've learned so much from him and all I can say is — highly recommended!

Denis Salnikov is not an average Scrum Master. He is a great facilitator, who always focuses the team's attention to achieve actionable outcomes at every meeting. Denis applies his coaching skills to hold individual 1-on-1 sessions with the team members, thus having a positive impact on both individual and team level.

He has also introduced Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) on the company level.

3
Fit for purpose
Having a shared understanding, we decide whether my skills and expertise match your needs and expectations.
I am interested in
My core values and principles
Courage
I am ready to take challenging tasks and do my best to succeed with them.
Honesty
Reputation is the only thing I have to lose. That is why I take only the job I feel I can fulfil.
Commitment
It is essential to form clear and shared expectations. After that, you can expect my dedication.
Transparency
If I feel that changes or transformation you ask for do not make sense, I will tell you.
My learning path
I sincerely believe in the importance of continuous learning and professional development. I try to enrich my knowledge, toolbox and expertise learning from the best experts and institutions recognised in the industry.
Public activity
what motivates me?
It is simple - I was a self-starter myself and know how difficult sometimes it is to find the information one is looking for. I share my experience, knowledge, success and failure cases with people so that they could get valuable insights and avoid the mistakes I did.
Mental Models in action
System development always goes hand-in-hand with the development of people who form it. And by the system here I mean the structure of a company, not the product it produces.

Company Values workshop
I guess everyone working in an agile environment knows that "culture eats processes for breakfast". In this article I would like to share the design of the Company Values workshop I came up with.

One evolution with Scrum
Today I would like to share the story of one team’s evolution with Scrum. It took place back in the days when I worked with one of the fastest-growing mobile banks in Europe.
